Job Purpose

 

To support the organization's remuneration strategy and processes by implementing and maintaining effective and efficient remuneration administration and management practices.


Key Responsibilities

 

Reward Strategy and Management

  • Partner with HR business partners to identify and propose total reward solutions that influence employee behavior, attract, and retain talent.
  • Manage market survey submissions, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Analyze remuneration and benefits across the business, identifying trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
  • Evaluate and recommend changes to compensation practices, including base salary and annual incentive programs.

 

Job Grading and Remuneration Structure

  • Coordinate and oversee job grading processes.
  • Evaluate positions to ensure a consistent grading system across the organization.
  • Prepare classification systems, define job levels, and families.

 

Analysis and Reporting

  • Compile remuneration and benefit statistical reports.
  • Collect and analyze compensation information across all work areas within the organization.
  • Initiate total compensation reviews and alternatives based on market competitiveness and business needs.

 

Information and Data Management

  • Consolidate data from all systems impacting remuneration.
  • Analyze human resource-related data, identify trends, and anomalies.
  • Share relevant management information with operational and national management teams.

 

Professional and Technical Support

  • Serve as a recognized subject matter expert and escalation point for HR and business leadership regarding pay and bands.
  • Influence outcomes based on professional advice consistent with organization-wide policies and best practices.

 

Requirements

 

Education and Qualification

  • Relevant business degree (e.g., Human Resources, Business Administration).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a reward/compensation and benefits environment.

 

Knowledge and Skills

  • Classic reward experience is essential.
  • HR business partnering experience would be an advantage.
  • Proven analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage self.
  • Forward-thinking, ability to multitask, and prioritize projects.

Job Title: Senior Investigator

Location: Johannesburg

Job Type: Full-time

Reports to: Risk & Security Manager

Salary: R37 520.00 - R53 600.00 Per Month

 

 

Job Purpose

 

To conduct investigations  into matters committed against the Company or its employees, and provide recommendations to Management based on the outcome of these investigations.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Investigations

  • Conduct investigations into offences committed by Company employees and make recommendations to Management.
  • Review collected local intelligence data and conduct investigations as directed by the Risk & Security Manager.
  • Gather evidence, manage investigative responses, and oversee resources associated with investigations.

 

Risk Management

  • Develop risk management controls and systems to minimize security risk.
  • Regularly test documented security procedures for employee compliance.
  • Review Policies and Procedures with respect to security and advise Management on methods to minimize security risk.

 

Reporting and Testimony

  • Prepare detailed reports, including recommendations to Management on improvements to security.
  • Attend CCMA/Bargaining council as a company witness.
  • Testify in court as required.

 

Requirements

 

Education and Qualification

  • Tertiary Diploma in Risk Management or equivalent.
  • PSIRA registration.
  • No criminal convictions.

  • Previous police experience, particularly in investigations and court testimony, would be advantageous.

  • Proven experience in supervising and overseeing loss prevention services, ensuring effective risk management and mitigation strategies.

Job Title: Refrigerator Technician

Location: Cape Town

Salary: R24 000.00 - R34 000.00 Per Month

 

Job Purpose

To perform skilled maintenance, installation, repair and inspection work on complex refrigeration equipment, inspection and maintenance of fire defence systems, inspection and general facility maintenance, racking systems, standby power generators and electrical switch gear.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Installation, Maintenance and Repair

  • Install refrigeration equipment and systems.
  • Inspect systems and their components to ensure safety and identify necessary repairs and to provide an ongoing programme of preventive maintenance.
  • Diagnose problems and/or failures in refrigeration systems to identify equipment and/or systems repair and replacement needs.
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance as needed and/or assigned to ensure the ongoing functioning of refrigeration systems.
  • Test components  using electrical, mechanical test equipment .
  • Charge and leak test the refrigerant charged systems.
  • Perform pre-start up checks on equipment and adjust as necessary.
  • Lay-out and install reference points for determining equipment location.
  • Prepare documentation (e.g. records of refrigerants, paperwork, logs, time and materials, specifications, etc.) for the purpose of providing written support in compliance with regulations and/or conveying information.
  • Repair various items, systems and/or components to ensure that equipment are available and in safe working condition.
  • Facility maintenance of the warehouse and administration buildings
  • Inspection and repairs of fire defence systems
  • Inspection and maintenance of standby power generating equipment
  • Inspection and maintenance of electrical switch gear
  • Contractor management for repairs to plant equipment and structures

  • Coordinate with Operations management, administration and other members of the maintenance team to complete projects/work orders efficiently.
  • Inform the Regional Engineer regarding procedures and/or status of work orders for the purpose of providing information for making decisions, taking appropriate action and/or complying with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist other maintenance personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities.
  • Maintain tools and/or equipment to ensure the availability of equipment in safe operating condition.
  • Respond to emergency situations during or after hours to resolve immediate safety concerns.
  • Transport various items (e.g. tools, equipment, supplies, etc.) to ensure the availability of materials required at job site.
  • Dismantle malfunctioning systems, analyse and test components, using electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic testing equipment  

 

Implementation of Safety Health Environment, Risk and Quality (SHEQ)

  • Implement and comply with health and safety procedures.
  • Ensure that documentation required within the Total Integrated Management System (TIMS), is applied consistently within scope of function.

 

Stock Control

  • Complete a spares requisition once spares have been drawn from stores in order to have the buyer procure and replenish stock.

 

Assistant Guidance

  • Guide, train and coordinate the functions of the technical assistant and handyman.
